Baghthata Film Factory is a Nepal-based company that specializes in producing feature films.
Established in 2021, we have integrity and trust in our work process, and we constantly strive to create high-quality films. Our mission is to craft compelling stories that provide enjoyable entertainment experiences for various audiences.

Founder & CEO

Govind Singh Bhandari is a screenwriter, director, and producer, as well as the founder and CEO of Bhaghthata Film Factory. He was born in Baghthata Village, Doti, Nepal, and raised in Telangana, India, where he received an education in multimedia focused on VFX and Editing. Bhandari has worked extensively in the Telugu and Nepali film industries.

His career in Nepal started as an Associate Director on the film “Manjari” in 2012. He has since worked on numerous other projects, including “Love You Baba,” “Hairaan,” “Mero Paisa Khoi,” “Gaja Baja,” and “Chini Kam Rang Kada.” Bhandari is known for his versatility and competence in all aspects of the filmmaking process.

Bhandari made his Directorial and Screenwriting debut with the film “Ranveer,” released on February 1, 2019. In 2021, he founded Bhaghthata Film Factory and began working on “Prema,” where he debuted as a Producer. The film is scheduled for release on March 31st, 2023.

Advisor

Bibek Ghimire is an individual with extensive experience. He is a writer, director, and producer currently based in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Ghimire made his directorial debut with the film “Chini Kam Rang Kada” in 2020, showcasing his skill and passion for filmmaking. Additionally, Ghimire is an alumnus of the prestigious Virginia Tech, where he successfully pursued a dual major in Industrial and Systems Engineering, as well as Theater, Arts, and Cinema, and is the current advisor of Baghthata Film Factory demonstrating his ability to excel in various fields. Ghimire is also a veteran of the United States Navy, adding to his list of accomplishments. “Prema,” his next film as a producer, is scheduled for release on March 31st, 2023.
